Why I Built This
I built it for my son first.

After 17 years in the classroom, I kept seeing the same thing: genuinely bright, capable students who had completely checked out — not because they weren't smart, but because nothing they were being asked to learn connected to the life they were actually building.
I started rethinking everything when I was designing curriculum for my own son. The difference was immediate and undeniable. So I built Skillsmart Academy — and opened it to other families.
Every student here gets a fully personalized curriculum plan built around their specific career interests, learning style, and goals. Not a template. Not a one-size-fits-all program. Theirs.
